Jill in Japan

Osaka Castle Sakura

Right before heading off to Korea, I met my friend Maiko at Osaka Castle. Several other people came too, and we walked around for a few hours before they settled on a location for the picnic. Hanami (花見) is the Japanese word for cherry blossom viewing. The blossoms only last a couple of weeks.

Marika, Jiao, Maiko, Arisa, me.

L to R: Arisa, me, Maiko. These are some particularly colorful blossoms.
